The breakfast was really nice, and the room was comfortable. Paul, the owner, is very pleasant too. I really love staying here, right in the middle of Stockton Heath, and would definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was included in my price and was excellent. The woman in charge couldn't do enough for me, with cereal, toast, a fry-up, tea and coffee. The room was good and very clean, and it was good value for the price. The location is right next to all the amenities, but there was no noise issue at night. I'd definitely stay again when I need to.

Paul made our stay at Victoria Lodge a thorough delight. It's the people who make this castle, and he's an excellent host. The room was tidy and had everything I needed, including a clean ensuite, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was great: toast and tea, then an enormous hot breakfast cooked just how I wanted it. I asked for crispy bacon, and got it. Well worth the trip.

The room was spacious and very clean, and I had a fabulous breakfast in the morning. Just what I needed before the long journey back down to Somerset. I got a very warm welcome on arrival too. I'd recommend it and would stay again if I'm in the area. Erika

There was no heating, but they provided a heater for the room and blankets. The shower didn't work, so I had to go downstairs to use another room. I wasn't happy about that, though the lady was very apologetic and couldn't have done more. Hopefully breakfast will make up for it. The towels were so fluffy, though.
