This is my regular stop when I’m in town for work. The historic pub is lovely, the beer is great, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. There’s also a Latin American restaurant attached, with excellent food. I’ve tried some of the menu, including spot on tapas and huge burgers. The rooms are nice and simple. They pour a great Guinness, even adding a clover, which you don’t see much these days. I’ve never managed to be there in time for breakfast, but it smells amazing and I’ve heard good things, so I can imagine it’s as good as the evening food.

Everything we ate tasted fresh and full of flavour, and you can tell they put care into the food. Staff were friendly without hovering, and the place felt relaxed and welcoming. We had a lovely meal and would come back.

The rooms are basic and a bit dated, with old pub windows that let some street noise through. Parking is limited, so take care when the lot is busy. Still, everything was spotless and the staff were fantastic. The food is amazing, easily a ten out of ten. The South American theme works really well, and the service is good too. Try the three milk desert. It’s a great place to stay and eat, perfectly located for exploring town. Despite the few niggles, we’d choose it again on our next Warwick trip.
