The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We had an excellent Sunday lunch, delicious and very good value. The hotel is being restored under new management.

We wanted a relaxing break, and couldn’t have asked for better. They were so nice and upgraded our room. It was clean and relaxing, with very comfortable beds, and breakfast was outstanding. The staff were amazing. We’ll stay there again.

The room was fine, and the grounds are beautiful. The other staff were excellent, and the hotel itself was lovely, which makes this such a shame. But our stay was completely ruined by Mu at reception, who was unbelievably unprofessional and disorganised. A week after we left, he called to chase a £15 payment that we’d already made at checkout. We won’t stay here again while he’s still working there.
