The restaurant was spotless, with an amazing view, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d heard Whiston Hall Hotel had new staff and was serving breakfast, so I stopped in for a full breakfast, which I have regularly. I was glad I gave it a try. I really enjoyed it, just the way I like it, and I’d recommend it.

Breakfast was delicious, though the service was a little slow. Perhaps it was simply a busy time. That small issue didn’t take much away from the good things about Whiston Hall Hotel. Our room was clean, spacious and nicely presented, and the views were lovely. There are lots of places to explore on foot nearby. The bar had a good range of drinks and stayed open a bit later for us even though it was a quiet night. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I’ve stayed here quite a lot for work this year, and James and his team always make me feel welcome. Every visit has been brilliant, with good quality food each evening. The apple and blackberry crumble is outstanding.

We had a fantastic New Year’s Eve at the 2025 to 2026 party. The beautiful building and friendly staff helped make it a great time for both adults and children. The DJ was fantastic, and we loved the photo booth. We hope to come back for next year’s party 🥳

We arrived worn out, flu-ridden, smelling funky and feeling broken, but got such a warm welcome and so much generosity from everyone, even with the beer festival weekend being busy. We’re leaving refreshed, healthy and heartened, already saying we’ll return. Honestly, the breakfast alone would make the drive from Kent worthwhile. BIG LOVE to James, his future black Labrador and the whole team.
