Breakfast was a highlight, with choices from a full English to scrambled egg with smoked salmon or kippers, and the service was great. We spent three nights at The Pinewood guest house. Our room was spacious and lovely, with a comfy bed, TV, fridge, hairdryer, kettle, plenty of storage and a good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. The bathroom was a good size and had lots of towels. Everything was spotlessly clean, and our hosts were friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely return.

I felt safe and at ease travelling solo in this quiet part of Whitby, and the location was superb. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. My room was immaculate and had great facilities, including a fridge, TV, hairdryer and kettle. Breakfast was lovely and adapted to suit my diet.

Breakfast had several options, including kippers, yoghurt and bowls of lovely fresh fruit. The staff were very nice, and there was a good supply of drinks in the room along with a small fridge. The whole guest house was immaculately clean, with plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable and the decor very nice. We'll definitely come back.

The location was quiet, yet only a ten-minute walk from the centre. We had such an enjoyable three-night stay at this b+b. Cleanliness, hospitality and food were all outstanding. I'd book again without hesitation if I return to Whitby.

We spent three nights at Pinewood house Whitby and couldn't fault it. The location was excellent, and the rooms were very clean and well equipped. The friendly, attentive staff and owners replenished the tea and coffee each day. Breakfast was excellent too, with good-quality ingredients cooked perfectly. We'd highly recommend it.
