Premier Inn Salisbury South Milford

Breakfast had plenty to choose from and generous portions, even with a few items running short. I did miss having a microwave to warm food or drinks, and a hot chocolate option for the children. The accessible family room was clean, well arranged and roomy, with very comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom equipped for disabled guests. The shower gel dispenser was in an awkward place and hard to reach, and we initially had trouble with the AC. The staff were lovely and quick to help, even bringing us a spare key card. We had a really pleasant stay at Premier Inn Salisbury South Milford and would happily come back.

I wish I'd had the room with "the sofa bed" by the window. Check-in was just a simple kiosk, so I can't comment on the service. The place was very quiet and clean, despite being by a shopping centre with lots of shops nearby. A small stream bordered by big, old lime trees helps make it feel cosy and quiet. It's a newer Premier Inn southeast of Salisbury, at the edge of the centre, with a super Tesco and other stores within walking distance. There's a McDonald's next door too, if that's your preference.

The reception staff are fantastic and always accommodating, but the kitchen lets them down. On three separate visits at different times of year, I came down for breakfast at 7am to find almost no hot food. Each time there were no more than five people in the restaurant, so it wasn't extremely busy. Today the chef looked over the empty hot plates several times, but even after I waited 30 minutes, nothing was done to fix it.

The kids really enjoyed the Halloween quiz, such a nice touch, and breakfast was fantastic. The staff even brought our son's jumper up to the room after he left it behind. We had a great stay in a really good location. The rooms are starting to show some wear, but the staff were fantastic. Thanks again, Premier Inn!
