Jonathon really helped make our mini-moon special. He was warm, efficient and keen to make our visit memorable, carried my bag to the room and suggested dinner spots that were fabulous. We arrived to the chocolates we’d requested and a kind surprise of a bottle of champagne, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel’s location made it easy to explore, and the on-site parking was convenient. Breakfast each morning was fresh, beautifully presented and clearly made with care. Housekeeping kept our spotless, comfortable room immaculate, even tidying it while we were at breakfast. Cedar Manor’s interiors are stunning, elegant and cozy, with lovely attention to detail. Everything was perfect from start to finish. It’s a gem, and we can’t wait to come back. I’d recommend it for a romantic, relaxing getaway.

Afternoon tea with my partner was lovely. The staff were really friendly and let us leave our bags there until it was time for our train. There was so much attention to detail, with fresh, warm scones and loads of sweets. Our favourites were the lemon tart and choux. Thanks for a great afternoon, we can’t wait to come back!

Jonathan & Caroline were fantastic hosts, and the Inn’s charming decor and lovely grounds made it a special visit. Getting around was easy: it’s a simple walk from the train station into town and on to Bowness, with a bus stop right outside. Breakfast was fun and enjoyable, and the afternoon tea was the best we’ve ever had. Possibly one of the finest hotel or inn stays we’ve had. We highly recommend it and would stay again when visiting the Lake District.

We had a perfect stay at Cedar Manor. Caroline and Jonathan were ideal hosts, making us feel welcome while giving us our space. They were especially attentive at breakfast, which made each morning start so well. The Coach House was an outstanding honeymoon retreat, spacious, relaxing and comfortable after long days exploring the Lake District. The huge bath, luxurious bed and in-room Bluetooth speakers made it feel special. We’d happily return right away and recommend Cedar Manor to anyone wanting an idyllic place to stay.

The afternoon tea was awesome, and Jonathan was welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived. We’ve just come back from an amazing mini weekend break at Cedar Manor. The rooms and overall decor are very nice, with top-notch service and attention to detail. It’s also well placed for walking into town in the evening for restaurants and pubs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
