Rob and Becky were so warm and caring, and helped us with ideas for places to visit. My husband and I came to Windermere for a birthday trip and spent two days at The Ellerbrook House. Our room was neat and just right, with everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. If you're planning a Windermere visit, I'd say go ahead and choose The Ellerbrook house ❤️☺️

Breakfast was a highlight for me. You pick from a menu, and everything I tried was delicious. The house has a lovely, cozy feel and is beautifully decorated. Rob and Becky were both welcoming and made the stay special. Rob is full of energy, and I really enjoyed hearing how he marked off the whole Lake District on his personal map. I'd happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and attentive. Shops are not too far away.

When my tour got cancelled at the last minute, Becky and Rob came up with great suggestions. They were thoughtful and kind hosts. The room was quiet and really clean, and the bed and sheets were very comfortable. I had an amazing stay, and breakfast was delicious too.

The location made it easy to get around the lakes. The buses and train station are only a few minutes away, with routes towards Kendal, Ulverston, Ambleside, Keswick and elsewhere. Rob and Becky were welcoming, attentive hosts. Rob even gave travel tips down to which side of the bus has the best views. Becky’s breakfasts were just what we needed before days of hiking and exploring. The room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
