Paula and Richard were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms are very big, and breakfast was lovely. The location worked brilliantly too, halfway between Windermere and Bowness, both within walking distance. We'll be back.

We had the perfect anniversary trip, staying three nights. The location was ideal, and having a car made it easy to explore different parts of the Lake District. Our room was cosy and clean, and the host was super friendly and helpful. They were quick and easy to contact too. We'll definitely return!

We had such a lovely stay and will most definitely be back. The family room was spotless and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Breakfast had lots of options, cereal, toast, yogurts and cooked food to set us up for the day. Paula was warm and friendly, and her local tips and directions helped us fit in so much and make wonderful memories. The location is hard to beat, right between Bowness and Windemere, about a five-minute walk either way. Everything was easy to get to without being in the thick of it. Paula and Rich were lovely hosts, and we can't forget gorgeous Jack the black lab. He doesn't go in the guest house, but we asked to meet him as fellow lab owners and were glad we did. Highly recommended.
