A Park View Hotel

The service was the best part: friendly, professional, and very attentive. The restaurant is quite small, though, and felt cramped with our larger company meeting group. The meal was disappointing. My main arrived lukewarm and the meat was chewy. The potatoes and vegetables tasted fine, but were only warm. Dessert was below average and simply not good.

We weren't squeezed in at all, and the staff were brilliant, professional and friendly. They were happy to chat if you wanted. The afternoon tea itself was a treat: the food was excellent and nicely presented, and the plate of sandwiches and cakes was so big they gave us a box for what we couldn't finish. There are lots of options on the website, including vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'd recommend it. Thanks to the team :)

The restaurant is lovely, with fine-dining standard food, and the bar has cocktail deals such as two for one before 7pm. There are set-meal offers too, with wine included: a glass for two courses or a bottle per group for three. The hotel itself is nice, the staff are friendly, and breakfast was good. My family and I would definitely recommend it and come back.

We had a Sunday roast at Hamilton's restaurant and it was delicious, with generous portions, lovely flavours, a nice presentation and good value. The service made it even better: warm, welcoming and friendly, and nothing felt like too much trouble. My family and I will definitely be back!
