We missed the train home, which is how we ended up at this pub opposite the station. It seems popular with locals, and the staff knew most of the customers. One bloke recommended the duck breast, and I tried it. Pretty good, with tasty mash and loads of gravy, which was a bonus. The lasagne was awesome too. Decent beer, and the staff were really attentive and friendly. I might miss the train again.

I’m a foodie, and the menu really impressed me. The food was some of the best I’ve ever eaten, and the staff were absolutely fantastic. Lovely stay over the weekend, with amazing food. All round, a fantastic experience.

We’ve had a lot of Sunday lunches delivered in Worksop, and this one on Carlton road has been the best by a mile. Proper traditional roast, tastes home cooked, good price too. Definitely ordering again 🤙
