Selden Farm B&B

The grounds were beautiful and so peaceful and quiet. We only stayed one night, but loved it. We saw a gentleman giving a wedding tour, and the wedding area was absolutely beautiful. Chef Andy will make you anything you want for breakfast, and it was very good.

The fresh, made-to-order breakfast was mighty fine, fit for a King. It’s a great place, in a good location, with friendly service. The room was good apart from the lack of soundproofing. We could hear everything next door, even though they weren’t being loud: normal conversation, plugs being plugged in and out and switched on and off, and hangers scraping along the wardrobe rail. That was the only letdown. Otherwise, well worth staying.

Breakfast was okay, with good quality food cooked well. But once you’re shown to your room, that’s the last you see of anyone, so if there’s a problem, there’s nobody to talk to. The road leading to the venue is terrible, full of potholes. This is a wedding venue and it seems that’s all they care about. B&B guests can go to hell. I’ll never return.

The rooms are amazing, and the views are to die for. Staff are clearly happy doing their jobs, and do them well. Don’t miss the chance to stay here, you have booked, haven’t you? And make sure you fill up at breakfast the morning after the night before. It’s the best ever, with great quality ingredients cooked to perfection.
