We stayed two nights and would happily book here again next time we're in York. The property was so clean, the rooms well maintained, and the hospitality amazing. Everyone was friendly, helped us with things to do around York, and even went the extra mile to help us with something we'd left behind. Special mention to Craig, who was especially kind and helpful.

We'd happily come back when we visit again. The room was lovely, spacious, and clean, and the welcome was really friendly. Highly recommend this place.

We felt safe here, and getting in and out of the rooms was easy at any time of day. Parking is available too. Our front ground floor room was very clean, and we could open the curtains onto greenery and blue skies. The host was incredibly friendly. The Shambles is a 15-minute walk away, while takeaway is literally a minute away. There are plenty of other places to visit within a 30-minute walk, and I don't think we ever had to walk more than 20 minutes to get back. Thank you so much!

Steve, the owner, was wonderful, so friendly and service minded. The guest house is cute and in a quiet area, with a spotless room, comfortable bed, and enough power outlets. The city center is about 10 minutes away, with a nicer walk along the river. There was construction next door starting at 08:00, which could disturb light sleepers or anyone hoping for a late morning. We booked two nights but had to cancel one because we're both light sleepers. Steve handled it very professionally and was super kind about it. I'd highly recommend the place for great service and a clean room, and would love to try again next time.
