Little Ings is situated right in the centre of Easingwold which is a thriving North Yorkshire town with a weekly market on a Friday and with a cobbled market square. There is also a monthly Artisan and Farmers market. We also have supermarkets, numerous cafes, restuarants and public houses. In the summer months there is 'live' music in the town for you to enjoy. The White Horse in Kilburn is about 5 miles away, where ‘Mousey Thompson’ has his workshop and home to the Yorkshire Gliding Club. The National Trust has Fountains Abbey and Beningbrough Hall close by as well as the Yorkshire coast being approximately 30 miles from Easingwold. James Herriot (the vet) haled from Thirsk which is only 9 miles away and York with the historic walls and Minster is 13 miles away. A perfect starting place whatever your passion.

Little Ings was a cosy, comfortable place to stop for a night in Easingwold while driving from Edinburgh to Norfolk. It felt like a little piece of paradise, with a beautiful living space, lovely bedroom and gorgeous bathroom. I only wish we'd been able to stay longer. It's close to the village green, and the George Hotel is great for a meal. I can't recommend Little Ings enough!

Helen really is the hostess with the mostest, so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Denis is a great guy too. We had a wonderful stay at Little Ings. The cottage was furnished and decorated to a high standard, with thoughtful extras like fresh flowers, fresh coffee, different teas, sugar and pastries. We've already booked to return. Thanks again x

A lovely hostess runs this place, and we'll definitely use it again if we're in the area. It's a great little find, put together really well. There's off-road parking, and although it's close to the main house, the place is very private. The space is used well, with a good-sized bathroom and a really strong shower. Lots of little extras too: milk on arrival, high-quality bathroom products, games and puzzles, Netflix, a discount at some local takeaways, and a cot available. The bed was comfy, with a medium-firm mattress during our stay.

A lovely little cottage with its own secluded courtyard, tucked away but just a two-minute walk from the centre. There are plenty of small local shops, places to eat and pubs nearby. The cottage is very well appointed.

We had a really warm welcome from Helen & Denis when we arrived early. They quickly arranged secure storage for our cycles, so we could go to Whitby and enjoy our first day. The accommodation was bright, spotlessly clean and laid out exceptionally well. It had absolutely everything we could need, whether staying one night or a whole week, and went beyond what we expected. We'd highly recommend Little Ings and will no doubt return.
