The front desk staff were nice, and the location is good, but you can hear traffic from the road right beside the hotel. There was visible mould in both the room and bathroom. I didn’t feel comfortable showering because there was so much on the ceiling. We couldn’t adjust the thermostat ourselves either. We had to ask reception to set the temperature, and go back there whenever we wanted it changed. I probably wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re stuck without another option.

The bed was comfortable and the staff were helpful, but the place is looking very tired. The bathroom extractor fan was so loud that we went in without turning the light on. The air conditioning was frustrating too: it was cold outside, but changing the setting meant going down to reception. They moved it from 17 degrees to 24, with nothing in between.

The restaurant food was really good, and the staff were polite and helpful with everything we needed. Our room was clean and tidy, if a bit dated, but that didn’t affect our stay. Parking was easy and free. Such a lovely place to stay, well done Team 5 🌟

We spent five nights here and really enjoyed it. The room was clean and nicely presented, even if a little dated. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful, and we felt so welcome. Special thanks to Vicki and the reception and hospitality teams, they’re all a credit to the hotel. We couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome. We’d happily recommend staying here. Many thanks to you all x

The food was good value and tasty, I had a burger, and the woman who checked us in, took restaurant orders and brought the food was very friendly. Breakfast was nice too, with a cold buffet and cooked dishes made to order. The rooms are starting to look a bit tired, but they were immaculately clean. I’d happily stay again.
