Bay Side Inn & Suites

I booked a non-smoking room, but it clearly smelled like it had been smoked in. We stayed the last two nights, June 12 and 13. One night was booked under my name and the other under my boyfriend's, so we checked out and checked back in later. We ended up in the same room, but the bedding hadn't been changed. My boyfriend thought the sheets were changed, though I don't think so. The comforter definitely wasn't, since it still had the same burn marks and had gotten messy during our stay. Someone's probably cuddling up with that tonight.

The Indian lady at the desk was rude and kept using her phone. She said a room was available, but it hadn't been cleaned. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The kitchenette had no pan, spatula, or fork, and the coffee pot came with no coffee. I asked whether I could rent or borrow anything for the night, and the woman brought her husband over. He started yelling about the area and how he couldn't do all that. I stay at hotels and motels around here, and their kitchenettes always have utensils. People don't travel with pots and pans! The next morning we found they'd charged our card twice. When I threatened to call the police, he pulled out cash and made us leave three hours before checkout.

Spacious rooms with a kitchen and bathroom, and the place was very clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and courteous. It's a great value for the money, and I'd definitely stay here if I'm down this way again.
