Olympic Inn Motel

We only checked in because they wouldn’t refund us, even though I wasn’t comfortable staying after seeing police and ambulances outside when we arrived. No one answered the phone, and the empty parking area made it look like nobody was there. Room 107 was awful: torn carpet and couch, plus a huge blood stain on the mattress. I refused to shower and slept in my clothes. In the morning there were vagrants all around, so I’m not sure whether this is a hotel or a homeless shelter. The room looked like it had been mauled by a wild cat. Please see my photos. Worst place ever, don’t book.

The location was handy for shops and restaurants, and the beds were more comfortable than the ones at the Seattle Sheraton where we stayed this week. The room could’ve been cleaner. There was no bathroom fan, the ground-floor bathroom window wouldn’t lock, and its heater was very rusty and needs replacing. The AC only went down to 66°, so the room stayed pretty warm. Also, despite what Google Maps and Orbitz say, they do not serve breakfast.

My mom didn’t seem bothered, but the moisture in the air made the room feel muggy to me and I couldn’t get comfortable. The room was clean, the staff were nice, and the beds were really comfortable.

We had a good time and the room was great, but later they charged us for supposedly missing and stained towels. We brought our own and left every towel that was in the room. When I asked, they said they had no proof of the missing or stained towels, yet the manager still refused to refund the charge. Check your account, because they seem fine charging people for no reason.
