I like the Hilton brand, and this hotel was clean, with comfortable rooms and really nice staff. But I was surprised they don't offer room upgrades to Diamond members. Other Hilton properties do, and charging a Diamond guest $30 for an upgrade feels ridiculous. It makes me likely to choose somewhere else in Abilene next time. Sorry!

Our team was happy with both the rooms and the service, and we plan to stay here again. We worked with the Home2 Suites staff this past week to book several rooms for our company. They were organized, quick, and accommodating, which made arranging a large group easy and stress-free. I'd recommend them for work or personal trips.

The walk-in shower was a nice change from the tubs most hotels still have. The hotel and room were very clean, and the parking lot was well lit. I had a nice stay, though it felt a little expensive for what you get. Breakfast wasn't as good as at other Hilton hotels. The pillows went completely flat, even doubled up, and the shower pressure was so weak it felt like a dog peeing on your back, or like a softer version of a horse. That's why it's four stars from me.

Check-in at the front desk was easy, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious, with a nice amount of counter space for working. The refrigerator and freezer would have been handy on a longer stay. There are plenty of food options within five minutes. A great fit for our quick visit to Abilene.

Melissa and the team made my month-long stay feel exceptional. The front desk staff were warm and personable, and the housekeeping crew was meticulous. Their positive attitude sets the tone for the whole place. It's a military-friendly hotel, and I couldn't ask for better service.
