The rooms are clean and nicer than most around here, but a few things need fixing. Breakfast at 6:30 is too late for those of us who need to be at work by 7, so I'm paying for a meal I don't have time to eat. The fridge also needs a freezer compartment. And they should drop the $7 daily parking fee when we're already paying more to stay here.

I won't be coming back to this Holiday Inn Express. We heard truck horns and air brakes all night, along with hallway doors slamming. When I asked if there was a quieter room away from the highway, the front desk suggested turning on the TV to cover the noise. The building feels poorly constructed, and there's an extra $7 daily charge to park by the front road. It has been refreshed and breakfast was good, but it still feels overpriced. There are much better options at nearby exits.

The hotel itself was nice, but I got home and found a $7 parking charge. There are plenty of places to park, so I felt ripped off. Since posting this, I've seen other reviews mention the same fee. The owner says it began in January, appeared on the registration card, and goes toward repairs. Why not add a fee for the water, hallway cleaning, or lights too? Sleazy.

We picked this hotel for a trip to ride the Creeper Trail and it worked out really well. We could park at the hotel and get onto the trail quickly. The place was clean and new, the service was great, and breakfast was good too. We'll be back in the spring.

I've stayed here two years in a row for the Yeti 100 race. The hotel and rooms were very clean, and the customer service was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to find Costa coffee, a popular European brand I'd never seen in the USA. The ball fields are within walking distance, and the Creeper Trail is easy to reach.
