Casino Inn

It was quiet, which I liked, and the room and bathroom were both big and very clean. The owners were so nice, especially "Charlie," who was very sweet. Casino Inn is close to everything, and I had a lovely time. I'll be back. Don't just take the negative reviews at their word, check it out for yourself.

The manager in the office and the staff member were kind and accommodating. The rooms are clean, with no insects, bedbugs, or bad smells. The beds aren't especially comfortable, but they'll do for two or three days. Some appliances could be newer, though they work fine. The linens are washed on site and don't feel professionally laundered, so they're not as bright or soft, but they'll do.

We managed to get to the wedding and celebrate with our friends and family, but it was after a rough start. I had driven in from out of state with my two tired little girls, and we arrived at 8 a.m. for a 2 p.m. wedding. I told the man at the desk we'd wait in the car until the advertised 11 a.m. check-in and asked him not to give away our room. I had a reservation number and had paid by credit card, but he rudely said he couldn't guarantee a room. He yelled that I'd have to wait until noon, 3, or 4, said a reservation didn't guarantee anything, and told me to find somewhere else. I left in tears. Thankfully, we found a public bathroom where we could put on our dresses, and the day wasn't ruined.

There was plenty of room to walk around, and the king bed was comfortable. The room was a good size, about like a studio apartment, with a fridge and a bathtub that worked. The office staff were great. I'll definitely stay again.
