Hampton Inn Acworth

Getting around was easy because the location is convenient to everything. The staff were consistently welcoming, helpful, and kind, always with a smile. Our king bed was comfortable, especially the pillows, and the room was clean and a good size. The bathroom was spacious too. We'd happily stay again.

I was kind throughout my stay, but the assistant manager treated me with judgment and dismissiveness from the start. She didn't seem interested in helping or listening, and made me feel small and unwelcome. There's a difference between enforcing policy and using authority to belittle a guest. Her behavior was rude and unaccommodating, and the lack of empathy was especially disappointing from someone in a leadership role. When you're far from home, a little respect and understanding matter. Instead, I left feeling judged and disrespected. I won't return, and I strongly advise against booking at the Hampton Inn in Acworth, GA if kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality matter to you. This was some of the worst customer service I've experienced in years. I kept thinking of the line from Proverbs: “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” I wish I'd been met with even a little of that wisdom and compassion. We all deserve to be treated with dignity as guests.

You can get an Uber to the hotel easily, though having a car is best because the location is only okay otherwise. The rooms were cosy and nice. Huge thanks to the front desk team for making us feel welcome and looked after, and for giving us good places to eat.

We'd been driving for over eight hours from Florida when we checked in to the Hampton. Janetta and Ms. V were wonderful. They greeted me with kindness and professionalism, and our stay was very pleasant.
