The room was clean, but it was hard to rest with all the noise. The fridge compressor kept kicking on and waking me up, and early morning traffic came through very loudly, as if the windows and building did little to block it. The AC was noisy too, and even on constant fan it wouldn’t stay running for white noise. I was in Ada because a family member was in the hospital, so I booked this place around the corner from Mercy. I was there from 10pm to 9am, but they charged the full rate and said no discount was available for the 11 hours.

I understand rates going up for events, construction, and oil and gas crews. I worked in hotels for years. But doubling prices in Ada seems like a lot, especially since it sounds like rates are up everywhere in town. I used to stay here for two-day doctor appointments, then went elsewhere when prices rose. This time I had to stay because it was the only room available.

I stayed overnight here while working at the Med Center, after checking out Ada’s weekly stay options about nine years ago. Choosing Ada Laquinta was the right call. My stays were all positive, and Ronnie and Courtney, his right hand and consistently pleasant, steady manager, always went the extra mile to make sure I was rested and ready. Thanks to you both!

The room had a musty odor, and the towels, washcloths, and bedding were old with several stains. I tried breakfast on the first morning and didn’t like it. The coffee machine, which wasn’t a regular dispenser, sputtered out bad coffee. I was glad I only had to stay two nights for work.

The room was cozy, comfortable, and clean, and the staff were courteous. I came to town for the ECU Football Season opener and wanted a place close to the stadium. I’ll be booking here through football season. Go Tigers!
