Norman Motel

A month after calling to cancel, I was charged for the room anyway. I explained what had happened, but they said there was nothing they could do. On the day I was meant to check in, I found out I wouldn’t be anywhere near Ada, so I called around 7:40am to cancel my October reservation. I knew it was last minute and explained the situation. The woman said it was fine and that, since plenty of rooms were available, she wouldn’t charge me. She was still asleep when I called, but said she’d cancel everything once she got up and went to work. I asked again if there’d be a charge, and she said no. I thanked her and hung up. They were the ones who said I wouldn’t be charged, but now they say they can’t do anything. The customer service is terrible, and the place is an absolute joke. Never stay here. They’ll steal your money. The management is even worse, Myers property management.

We were sorry our travel plans changed because we’d wanted to stay another night. We travel to Ada to see family, and really enjoyed our stay at the Ada Motel. The room was clean and spacious, with plenty of room for our one-year-old’s pack n play. The bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room was nicely decorated. The TV was a smart TV, so we could watch our streaming services. They’re working on updating everything. We’d stayed at a chain hotel in Fargo the night before and wished we’d spent the whole time at the Ada Motel. We’d definitely stay again.

Beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and spacious. The decor has a 50s style, with basic amenities. Bathroom was okay, though the tub drain looked dirty. There were no cups or other drinking provisions, no tissues, and no vending machines. A little pricey for the area, but an okay one-night stop while passing through.

The laundromat was clean and everything worked great. It’s really handy to have in Ada. I used it to wash a ruggable area rug and some coveralls that were too big for our washer at home.
