We got caught in the winter storm, and the hotel we’d booked had pipe problems, but the staff here were more than accommodating. The rooms were really comfortable, and the free breakfast made it an even better deal. For the price, I don’t think you’ll find a better option if you’re choosing between a few places.

We walked in, heard extremely loud music during the renovation, and checked out right away. They shouldn’t be open until the work is finished.

The room was surprisingly clean, and the beds were comfortable. The rest of the experience was rough. The dark, dirty hallways smelled awful. Vending machines took our money without giving us anything, and staff said, “not our problem.” The ice machine was filthy and leaking, and black electrical tape covered the locks on exterior doors, so a key wasn’t needed to get in. On the day we left, the elevator was broken and we had to carry everything downstairs. Our AC unit was held together with plastic and screws and sounded like it could stop working any minute, though it lasted the two nights. Breakfast was nothing like the photos on the website: rubbery egg rounds and sausage, no fruit or biscuits, just sliced bread in a plastic container. When we tried to speak with the front desk, all we got were shrugs.

They call it free breakfast, but that doesn’t count as breakfast.
