Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Aiken South

The breakfast gravy had good flavor, though it was very runny, and the woman serving it was polite, chatty, and engaging. Only the ice machine on the third floor worked. The room was basically clean and ordinary, but the bathroom had cracks and looked run-down under the paint. The beds were very hard, though I expected that for the price. The location was a bit far, but okay. The card issue is why I wouldn’t stay again. They don’t accept cash, so I used a prepaid Cash App card. They tried to charge it three times for the same two-night stay. When I showed them, she basically told me to take it up with a manager who was never available. I’d only loaded enough for what I needed, and I flagged the hotel after they’d been paid. I showed proof of payment and had to call Cash App. They didn’t get anything after the first payment. I watch my money closely for a reason, and this felt kind of shady.

Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The manager was involved, appreciative, and helpful, and she set a great example. We found Aiken after asking ChatGPT about a safe city near Augusta, then chose Comfort Inn and Suites for its good ratings and reasonable price. We were very satisfied. If we need a hotel again when paying this way, this is where we plan to stay. Thank you!

Erika at the front desk took great care of me when I checked in. She was friendly and professional, and made me feel right at home. The staff were excellent, and the hotel was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. I had a great stay at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Aiken, SC, and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We checked in late, but the staff were still friendly and pleasant. The room was very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent.
