The clean room and front desk, professional and very nice staff, and a well-lit lot with plenty of parking were good points. My room itself was shabby and needed professional attention. The kitchen had no dishes or silverware unless requested, and they didn't have enough for everyone. You have to bring your own dish soap. Housekeeping comes once a week, though you can exchange towels and linens at the desk. The smells were the worst part. The stairwell reeked like a fish shop, and my hallway smelled like clam chowder, Indian food and rotting garbage. I don't know when they take the trash out, which might explain it. Breakfast meant two cheap granola bars, small or medium muffins in two flavors if you got there early, coffee and tea. I used to think any coffee was good coffee, but not this time. I tried to make the best of it, then moved to a traditional three-star hotel for about the same price.

The entire place smells like weed, though that didn't bother us since we smoke. Breakfast is tiny muffins, granola bars and coffee. They advertise queen and king beds, but ours was barely a full, definitely not a queen. Watch out for the pet charge: they ask at check-in, then try to charge $27.00 per pet per night, which they hide on the website. And don't leave trash or used towels outside your door. They knocked and told us to take the trash out ourselves and bring towels to the desk. They're extremely lazy.

I've been here about a month, and Monet at the front desk has made the stay much better. She went out of her way to set me up in a perfect room with a very nice view, and she's always there when I need anything. Every morning on my way to work, she smiles and says, “Have the best day,” which starts my day positively. Her customer service and care for making sure everyone has what they need are priceless. I hope she gets a raise for all the hard work she puts into looking after us. I recommend staying here, and Monet will gladly help make your visit enjoyable and restful. Ten stars for her outstanding service.

I stayed here before, and the place has had some much-needed improvements. It's definitely cleaner, cheaper and quieter than other hotels in its class around here. Daniel at the front desk made everything easy. He's always polite and upbeat, and I'd recommend staying here now.

The only reason we stayed was that the rooms were supposed to have kitchens. They didn't even have the promised cooking utensils or cookware. Nothing about the room looked like the photos, and the appliances and furniture were ancient. The whole place is rundown and dated, with no amenities, not even a gym or public restroom. The front desk can't be bothered with anything beyond a towel. Breakfast is coffee, tea, cereal bars and instant oatmeal, and I got attitude for taking extra for my friend. They charge $100 a night for a motel room that isn't a hotel. This sh!those isn't worth $40 a night. I'll never return.
