Hampton Inn Albany-Wolf Road (Airport)

The room was clean, the front desk guy was polite, and extra blankets arrived quickly when we asked. We usually stay at Hamptons when we travel, and this one was probably our least favorite, though it was still decent. There was no pool, the breakfast area was really small, and the fire pit seemed to be full of cigarette butts. Still, a good stay.

I was booked here after my flights showed as on time, then got bumped and called the hotel right away. The person at the desk said only the manager could cancel or override the reservation, and the manager wouldn't be back until Monday. It was Saturday. I called several times the next week and finally reached the manager on Friday to ask for a refund. They said the digital check-in meant that wasn't possible. I've had this happen at other Hilton properties without a problem. I travel to Albany six times a year and will go back to staying downtown. What a joke.

My first time at this hotel, though I've stayed at several others along the same road. The staff were accommodating, and the place was clean, solid, and well appointed. The bathroom door is heavy and gives good privacy. You can also get alcohol in the lobby!

We can rely on Hampton Inn for a clean, comfortable place, and this location had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and efficient, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. It's also extremely convenient for the Albany Airport. We always like staying at Hampton Inn when we travel, and this was another positive, restful visit.
