Red Roof Inn Los Angeles - Wilmington, CA

I stay at the RedRoof Inn in Wilmington twice a week and love it. The rooms are very, very clean, prices are reasonable, and the staff are great. The manager is awesome. It’s pet friendly, too. I really encourage people to stay here.

The neighborhood and first look seemed a bit sketchy, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and modern, and the place is well run. There’s no elevator, but they offered to carry our bags upstairs. They also let us check in early once our room was ready. It’s close to the cruise ports in Long Beach and San Pedro.

The room was clean and well organized, and check-in was easy. The gentleman who checked us in was funny and delightful. We’ll definitely come back.

Roger at the front desk really put me at ease when our plans changed. I’d booked Thursday through Monday, but life got in the way and we wouldn’t arrive until 3am, so we’d miss our reservation. Changing the Hotels.com booking would have cost $355 more for one fewer night because the rates had changed. I called in a panic, and Roger understood. He booked us directly through the hotel at the same rates, leaving off Thursday so I didn’t have to pay extra. He treated me with respect and was glad we made it when I checked in. The room was clean and cute, and they welcomed my dog with water and towels. They’re pet friendly, and I’d absolutely recommend the hotel based on that experience. Thanks, Roger, for being so kind.
