Knights Inn Albany

There were roaches in the room, and neither breakfast nor morning coffee was available. There are some really good restaurants nearby, though.

The housekeeping staff member we asked for extra trash bags was really friendly and helpful, and we appreciated not getting knocks or pressure when we checked out a few minutes late. We stayed in room 317. It was in fair shape for an older hotel, and cleanliness was acceptable, though not quite up to what we wanted. Still, it was cleaner than a lot of places we’ve stayed. We didn’t need any other services.

For what I paid, I’m very happy here. I just needed somewhere to sleep, and got a clean bed, a quiet room, and strong WiFi for a great price. Totally awesome!

We stayed several days with our pets and had a quiet visit, with no disturbances. The staff and people in the neighborhood were nice. This is a two-star hotel in a less affluent part of the city, so don’t expect luxuries. There’s a little fridge and microwave in the room, which was handy. The cable had a problem, but maintenance came right away and fixed it. If weed smoke bothers you, though, you’ll notice people smoking there. We didn’t mind.
