Mr. Patel went out of his way to let me check in early after I’d been driving 14 and a half hours to Albany. That won me over right away, and check-in was a breeze. The pool was very clean, and the room was sparkling from top to bottom with fresh, clean air. Everyone was so polite and helpful, from the front desk to housekeeping. Mr. Mike Patel, lovely Kim, and the other sweet lady with glasses were wonderful. Hilton has absolutely nothing on these amazingly professional employees. Motel 6 of Albany, you’re more like a 10-star place, even a 100-star one in my book! My stay has been wonderful so far and will definitely keep being so. I’ll tell everyone about it. Thanks to Mr. Patel and the whole team for making this tired traveler feel relaxed and at home. It means a lot. This will always be my go-to motel when I need one. X0x0x kiss 😘

I booked four nights but left the next morning after barely making it through the first night. The room was dirty, with spiderwebs everywhere, and since it was on the ground floor, I could see dark spots around the ceiling cracks that looked like mold. When we turned on the AC, the entire casing fell off. I don’t understand how this place passes inspection. The reviews convinced me to try it, but this is definitely not the same Motel 6 as those reviews describe.

My stay was awful. At check-in, staff barely spoke English and charged me for someone else’s room. Then they tried to charge me again for my actual room, so I had to pay twice. They offered no apology or accommodation. I’m definitely not coming back.

I usually book one of the higher-end hotels when I’m in town, but my budget was tighter this Christmas season, so I decided to try Motel 6. I was really impressed with the room, especially the bed. I rarely sleep well in an unfamiliar place, but when I woke up, I felt like I was at home. For anyone wondering, I was in room 105.
