Econo Lodge

The whole building felt extremely dirty. Stains covered the hallway and room carpets, the beds were worn out, and the pillows were unusable. There were people in nearby rooms who seemed shady, including eight people and two loud dogs in one room. The check-in woman, in a lobby shared with another hotel, wrote the Wi-Fi wing password by hand and got our room number and other details wrong several times. Breakfast was included, but there was barely anything beyond kids' cereal, starchy white English muffins, and coffee. There wasn't even a coffee maker in the room.

The room was pretty and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Sherry, the manager, was so helpful when I needed to change my reservation. She's a peach! Just be aware that the free breakfast wasn't really a meal, it was a juice box and granola bar. I would've expected at least a donut, or been fine with no breakfast at all since the room was such a good price. The comfort and rate still worked for me.

The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful, though it seemed like they needed more staff for the number of rooms. The room itself was decent, but the bathroom floor needed a proper scrub, and the hallways were very dirty. The layout is strange and spread out, so our room was quite a jog from the lobby. We had to go there for ice, pool towels, coffee, and other things. The stay wasn't awful, but I don't think we'd come back.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and the TV and Wi-Fi were decent. Our room had a fridge but no microwave or coffee maker. It's a little confusing because there are two hotels on the same property. Econo Lodge has a poor breakfast, while Quality Inn includes eggs and meat, though staying there costs about $20 more per night.
