It felt tucked away, which was just what we wanted, though town was still close enough. Marianne was kind, flexible, and quick to respond whenever we needed something. The cabins had a cozy feel and came stocked with towels, linens, and a few toiletries. Even after the rain the day before, we could still use the propane fire pit. Check-in and check-out were easy. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway!

I first stayed in the Lime studio on a solo trip and came back in September this year with my partner for our anniversary. I’ve loved having some me time here on both visits, and the extra spaces make glamping more enjoyable: there are hot tubs, a community fire pit, a gym, and a sauna. I’d hoped to book the Yankee themed unit because my partner is a big fan, but it was being remodeled. Mary Ann welcomed us and offered to upgrade us from a studio to a one bedroom for the special occasion. She got it ready with extra towels, sheets, and blankets, checked in on our comfort throughout the stay, and showed us how to turn on the fireplace propane. That was the one thing I missed out on during my solo visit. I’m thankful for all the extra care and plan to stay here whenever I visit this region. Thanks for two wonderful stays, Camptel Poconos 😌😌😌.

This is a cool spot for a quiet break or a quick weekend away, and we’re already planning to return. Marianne handled our last-minute booking so well and made sure we got a unit that worked for us and our two small dogs. She kept in touch at every step, and check-in was effortless. We had a great experience.

We came back for our second stay at Camptel and hope to return next year, maybe sooner. It was exactly the kind of place we needed, somewhere quiet to disconnect and reconnect with nature, and in our case, enjoy the snow. Marianne, the property manager, and her husband were gems. Her customer service was great from before check-in right through checkout. We loved our experience. Thanks, Camptel and Marianne, and please pass our thanks to your husband too 😊👌

The place was very clean, dog friendly, and staff communicated well when we were getting in after dinner. It’s an easy drive to Jim Thorpe and the boulder field, so it worked out great as a base for exploring the area. Only one hot tub was available, and unfortunately it wasn’t working on our second night. Even so, I’d definitely recommend this spot.
