The room and hotel were clean and comfortable, and the gated parking made it feel safe. That's why I gave it four stars. The area around it didn't seem very nice, and I'd only walk there if I had to, even though Burger King, Subway, and Starbucks are close by. Breakfast hours changed for the weekend, so we had to get up early and still missed it completely. Service seemed average, and the man who checked us out wasn't very friendly. I wasn't keen on the bathroom either, though it did the job.

The clean, polished facility made it feel like we were in a much pricier hotel. Our room was lovely, the beds were comfortable, and they had chocolate chip cookies waiting in the evening. Breakfast in the morning had some nice choices, too. This Baymont was excellent. We'd highly recommend it, especially with the convenient spot just off I-25.

We had a great four-night stay, with clean, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, and friendly, helpful staff. The Hatch chili peppers they served alongside the eggs were fantastic. The one issue was the tub and shower: the tub was very slippery, there was only one grab handle at the entrance, and the worn showerhead barely sprayed properly.

We booked at the last minute during Balloon Fiesta, when the hotels were full, and were really grateful to find a room. It was close to the concert venue and the freeway, with some places to eat nearby. The room was clean, the bed super comfortable, and the parking lot was well lit. The area felt safe. A pleasant young man checked us in around 5 and was friendly. My only gripe was that there wasn't bottled water for sale. I'd recommend the place and stay again.
2/10
The room smelled like a stripper, and the bedding looked dingy. Paint was cracking and peeling off the door. They had DirecTV, but the remote's battery cover was missing and the batteries had been taped on. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The area felt awful, with criminal activity after dark, and getting there during the day was a pain because of heavy freeway traffic. I arrived at night, and the night desk man's shirt was mostly unbuttoned, several sizes too big, and he looked really disheveled.
