The kitchen was fully equipped with all the furniture and pots and pans we needed, and everything looked brand new. The place was spotless when I checked in, and the host Michael was very helpful and available when needed. He lives just down the street, so he can be reached while guests still have total privacy. It’s a lovely property with beautiful wood floors and rugs, a classic NM look, and tasteful details. It’s within easy walking distance of Flying Star Cafe for coffee or breakfast, and not far from grocery stores and local restaurants. Old Town and the Interstate are about a 10-minute drive away. The place is well equipped, quiet, and close to everything. When friends and family visit, I’ll definitely put them up here.

We really appreciated how flexible the owner was with our schedule, since we were arriving around the start of Balloon fest. Michael, our host, met us at the house and showed us where everything was. It’s a lovely, comfortable house inside and out, and very well stocked. We especially enjoyed the garden. The location was perfect for us, close to our friend’s house and near the Flying Star restaurants and shops. Great house, great host and owner. We’ll definitely be back.

After a day shopping at the Swapmeet and the great Antique stores, it’s lovely to come back to a comfortable, quiet place to relax. Casa La Huerta is close to all of our favorite stores, and Michael, the property manager, is so nice. We felt safe and will be back again. This was our second wonderful stay, and we love coming to Albq.

I arrived after midnight, but the instructions for entering the property were perfect, and I felt at home right away. It was very well maintained and had every amenity I could want. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, but centrally located. My only disappointment was having to leave so soon. I live in Boston, and this first VRBO stay has inspired me to spend more time in Albuquerque at Casa La Huerta.

The fenced yard was great for the kids to play in, and the historic feel made it a lovely place for the family. Fantastic place. We’ll definitely return.
