Steven gave considerate, fantastic service and is the reason I'd rate this place better. He deserves a raise. The key cards hardly worked, and I couldn't get through the back door, so I had to walk around to the front in freezing weather. The sheets and blankets had a lot of stains and may need replacing. There was also stuff floating in the hot tub, which needs more cleaning. Management should address those issues, but Steven's customer service was good.

We rented three rooms and had problems with two. In one, we found a meth pipe, and management didn't seem very concerned or comp that room. What if a kid had found it? I raised the issue at the desk and was told they might take $15 off. The front desk woman tried to make it better with two mini bottles of water and a couple packets of cookies, but the GM never called me back as I'd requested. Corporate will hear about it. The room was supposed to be accessible, but the toilet was below the required ADA height, there were no grab bars, and there was a tub with a shower seat in it. It only had one towel and one washcloth, too. I wouldn't spend my money here again.

The room was clean and pleasant, with a new mattress, white sheets, and towels. We felt comfortable, and the staff were very nice and respectful. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this motel to anyone who wants to feel at home.

My priorities were an easy location and somewhere dog-friendly where I could take a short break on my trip from Denver to Scottsdale. The price was fair, parking at the back was ample, and check-in was easy with a very friendly man. It's easy to reach from I-40 and not far west of I-25. My one concern was the noise from tractor trailers and ABQ hot rods on I-40 at all hours. I'm not sure it ever stopped.
