Luxury Inn

I love this part of Burque, where I’ve lived all my life. The place isn’t The Ritz Carleton, but if you need an affordable spot to crash, it’s an option and you could give it a try. Be decent to the staff and they’ll be decent with you. I paid for a whole month, but didn’t like either the first or second room and couldn’t get my money back. In the end, the kind woman at the front desk and I talked it through and reached an arrangement that worked for both of us. She even offered me a double to make me happy. She’ll work with you, but you have to communicate and not act like a jerk, or she’ll cut you off. Anything can happen around here.

*******BED BUGS******** I was grateful to find somewhere to stay because this was the only pet-friendly hotel available after my other hotel didn’t have enough rooms for my online reservation. But I found bed bugs and had to leave just two hours after getting into the room. There were people hanging around in the parking lots, and I’m pretty sure someone’s car was repossessed. The room had tape on the adjoining door, and there were cobwebs in the bathroom light and fan. The office staff said they’d refund me, but they haven’t.

For its location, this place really isn’t that bad. The rooms could use updates, and the first one we got, 233, had a hole in the ceiling. They moved us without any hassle. If you’re between places and need somewhere reasonably priced while waiting to get an apartment or house, I’d send you here. If you’re from out of town and don’t know the area, though, it’s definitely not the place for you. Crime does happen, but the owners seem to keep the property clean and quiet. I can’t complain ❤️

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The guy on the night shift is very rude, doesn’t know how to speak to people, and seems to harass everyone who stays there.
