The rooms were spacious, clean, and decent. I was told at check-in that, because I was local, I'd owe a $250 deposit. That wasn't disclosed on the booking site or Quality Inn's website. I paid, got my room, and wasn't too bothered that some exterior doors didn't lock and the outside felt a little sketchy. But after checkout, the deposit showed as a charge instead of pending. I waited 10 business days, understanding a debit card could take longer, and incurred fees because of the charge. I called, and they refunded it after looking up my stay. I suspect they would have kept it if I hadn't called. From the front desk woman's attitude, I got the impression this was deliberate. That's a hunch, but I've seen enough to recognize when people may be doing something on purpose. Watch your deposit, or make things easier and stay elsewhere.

Our room door had to be forced shut, the exterior door wouldn't secure so anyone from the street could walk in, and the room was filthy. The so-called security guard was chain-smoking in a T-shirt and ragged blue jeans, hardly professional. We'd booked in July 2025 for a March 2026 wedding. After driving around 14 hours, we called ahead to say we'd arrive late and were told they had no reservation for our night, though we had our Price Line printout in hand. The property had canceled it because they planned to close for remodeling in March, without telling us. When they rebooked us, they charged more than the original reservation. Two employees separately said the rates were going up, not that they'd already gone up. If they'd planned to close after taking reservations, why not contact guests and make sure they knew, or help them find another room? And when they decided not to close for the much-needed remodeling, why not restore those bookings? That would've been professional.

After an 800-mile drive, I just needed sleep. The bed looked clear when I checked for bugs, but in the morning I found German cockroach nymphs in the sink. I rinsed them away, then discovered there was no real hot water, barely enough warmth to wash my hands, so I skipped the shower. A full-size roach then crawled across the floor. This isn't Quality Inn quality, and I'm completely unsatisfied with this location. Cars were noisy all night, with people flooring their gas pedals. I told the front desk about the bugs, but the guy there didn't know who to contact or what to do. This place is run down, though it could be beautiful, and it desperately needs help.

I couldn't wait to leave. The room felt like it hadn't been cleaned recently: the floors were covered in stains, and there was a filthy couch. The mattress was badly worn and stained, and the queen-size topper on the king bed slipped off with the slightest movement. The glass closet door was cracked and felt unsafe, while the fire alarm hung upside down. Don't waste your money or time. I couldn't sleep.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect. Benita was professional and kind, and the staff made me feel welcome. I got help right away, which made the whole experience easy and pleasant. I had a great stay and highly recommend this hotel.
