Hotel McGhee Tyson Airport

We used this place when we flew to Las Vegas, and the ride to the airport was awful. The driver came in a filthy, beat-up old pickup and tossed our bags in the truck bed. We got dirty just riding in it. I doubt that truck had been cleaned in five years. We'd also booked a supposedly non-smoking room here once before, but it reeked of smoke as soon as we walked in, so we left for another motel. Don't use this service.

For the price, this isn't a five-star or pretty place, but the location is really good and it works for saving money. I'd stay here again.

The mice and bugs were bad enough that we were scared to sleep, especially with roaches on the ceiling. When we reported them, the answer was to go buy traps and Raid. The microwave quit working too, and nobody ever replaced it. Getting help at the office could mean waiting 30 minutes or more if no one was there when you arrived. The owner doesn't seem to care about customers, only whether his family's rooms are clean and in good shape. Don't stay here, no matter what.

The website claims wheelchair access, which is a joke. Roaches and bed bugs were everywhere, the mattress sagged badly, and the furniture was torn and stained. The remote didn't work, and there wasn't any hot water. This place is awful. I wouldn't recommend it even to someone who was homeless.
