Royal Inn Knoxville Airport Alcoa

I paid for a week but left after two nights. The bathtub bubbled up sewage, I killed 43 roaches, and bed bugs tore me up during those two nights. The front desk woman was pleasant and tried to help, but couldn't get me a refund. That's not her fault. It's on the owner, who hasn't returned my calls or refunded any part of the stay, even after three weeks. Terrible experience, zero stars. I'd give it less if I could.

The location is convenient, but the room was sketchy. There was graffiti on one wall, and the toilet paper was sitting in the middle of the room with the towels and other things instead of in the bathroom. I've seen cleaner showers in run-down truck stops. The bed cover should have been replaced years ago. The noises around there brought back memories of drug investigations I'd done in the past.

The rooms were filthy, and the fridge in the first one had been left open with dead bugs dried inside. We switched rooms, only to find no towels or toilet paper. The desk wouldn't give us any either, so we had to take towels from room #1. A very disappointing stay.

Stains were all over the place, there was mold in the drawers, and the room didn't even have a trashcan. Cockroaches crawled out from under the AC and the bed, and the pillowcases had disgusting green and red stains. Absolutely terrible, less than one star if I could. Don't stay here.
