Capt.'s Inn & Suites

I used to be happy staying here, but the last visit was a mess and nobody would address it. I was told the owner would call, but they never did and wouldn't speak to us or have anyone deal with our problems. The office AC smelled moldy as soon as we checked in. There seemed to be constant partying in the back office and upstairs, which made me think young college kids were running the place. The step into our small room was high enough to trip over, and the TV wouldn't turn on. We waited for staff to help or move us, but both the owner and staff ignored us. Avoid this place.

The restaurant next door was great, and the staff here were friendly. Our room was small but very clean, and we liked sitting outside in the chairs. I didn't care for the bed and slept poorly. All in all, it wasn't bad.

The location worked really well for our activities, and the staff we met were very helpful. Our room was spotless, with toiletries, AC, a quilt on the bed, and an excellent shower. They also supplied pool towels. The price was right, and we'd stay again. I'd recommend it.

The staff were wonderful when my family and I landed in a bad situation. Jason answered our call at 11:30 pm and found us three rooms at the last minute. Lisa and Kimberly were helpful too, and we really appreciated the service. The rooms were clean, nice, and quiet, and the property welcomes pets. Our small and large dogs got treats, and the staff even remembered their names. There's plenty to do nearby, and capt.'s in and suites worked perfectly as a base for Alex Bay. We'll stay here again next time we're in the area.
