The room had a smell, the toiletries were only half full when we arrived, and the highway location didn’t offer much of a view. I also found the atmosphere unfriendly, and the hospitality left a lot to be desired. Staff seemed dismissive and rude when we got there, and the hotel felt badly understaffed for a three star place. Food service was another problem: breakfast and dinner were the only meals offered, there was no room service, and The Market was overpriced and didn’t fill the gap for lunch. It took ages to get our meals, then they ran out of food halfway through dinner despite the bistro not being that busy. I wish both the food choices and bistro service had been better. Do better.

The rooms were clean, and some of the views can be amazing. Our room was spacious, but the furniture layout felt awkward and unsettling. There’s a refrigerator in the room, but no microwave. The lobby is comfortable and attractive, and the hotel has guest laundry plus a small, well equipped fitness room. It’s a short walk to some shops and restaurants, and a short drive from major highways. Parking costs $15 a day.

I’d have preferred a buffet breakfast, which feels classier, and a spot closer to DC and away from the highway. Still, it was a good experience overall, a fine establishment. Take my review seriously, it comes from a person of very high caliber.

The one real plus is how close it is to the station and highway. Otherwise, this place sucks. The rooms smell, parking costs $15 a day, and breakfast isn’t complimentary. Those are services you can get free at other places.

It was quiet and exactly what we paid for, with no real downsides. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower had great pressure, and the AC worked amazingly well. The bed was a little firm for my taste, but still comfortable. I liked having an actual duvet instead of just sheets. Staff were friendly, parking was adequate, and the smoking area was clearly marked.
