I've stayed here several times because it's close to Mount Vernon's Dining room, Wegmans, and the Auto Train station, which I use often. The staff are great. During this latest multi-night visit, housekeeping actually knocked to ask whether I wanted the room cleaned. It was the first time I'd had that happen since covid, and it surprised me. The room could use some refreshing: the carpet, a lopsided chair, and shower controls pulling away from the wall.

Friendly staff, a good breakfast, and coffee and tea available all day and night made this a pleasant stay. It's reasonably priced and quiet, set back from Route 1 so road noise isn't much of an issue. There's a small wooded area beside the hotel, which I liked. The indoor pool is bigger than many hotel pools, and the exercise room has the usual equipment.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and it was easy to find the hotel and park, with plenty of spaces. Geraldine and Victoria at the front desk were especially friendly and helpful. Breakfast had lots of choices, and there were freshly baked cookies in the middle of the afternoon. I loved staying here this past April. Thanks for a great visit!

Mary, the manager, helped make the end of my DC weekend trip easy. My plans changed, and on checkout morning she let me stay until noon at no extra cost. We chatted when I checked out, and she was really friendly with a great sense of humor. The kitchen staff were kind and respectful, and someone greeted me at breakfast on my first morning. The food and coffee were good, and the hot breakfast was a highlight. The pool was nice, a bit cold and enclosed, but nothing bad about it. Parking was free, with Walmart, 7/11, and restaurants nearby. It's about 30 minutes from the DC tourist area. I enjoyed my stay.

The rooms were clean and housekeeping had ours disinfected, while the service throughout the hotel was kind, respectful, and friendly. The front desk welcomed us with a big smile, and Mr. Leo in the breakfast area brightened our day with his wonderful smile and service. Thanks to everyone, and thank you Hilton.
