Kasa's service was attentive, quick to respond, and excellent quality. It was partly AI, but I could reach a person. The location in a quaint old town had little restaurants, though the metro and shopping were a 30-minute walk in snow or rain, so you'd need a rental car or Uber to reach the metro, or take the buses. The place itself was awful. I regret spending $1000. Don't trust the booking-site photos. It's a 100-year-old motel, grimy, falling apart, and cold overnight, with paint slapped over everything. There's no elevator or ramp, so expect to carry your luggage up five flights. Everything was stained or crusty, and it didn't seem to have been renovated or maintained. The maids cleaned lightly when the place needed an industrial deep clean, with things removed and replaced. Broken plumbing brought horrible smells up through the drains, and there was strong smoke in the hall. The bed was hard as marble, the old pillows were thin and flat, and the linens were rough. The kitchen had utensils and cookware, but most of it looked years old and used by hundreds, except for the pots. With paper-thin walls, you hear absolutely everything in the other units.

The location is great, and there's an awesome pizza place downstairs. But the unit was full of mice, and Kasa's response was appalling. I sent photos and got meaningless platitudes while they acted like I was the problem. The mice climbed onto the kitchen table and stared at me and my six-month-old baby, and the company ignored us for 48 hours. They moved me to another room, which also had mice, then graciously agreed to let me leave early. They gave me a $25 Amazon gift card, but I still haven't received the refund for the unused nights. It's been two weeks since checkout, and they still haven't sent the receipt I requested. I'm still arguing with them and getting empty platitudes about the well-documented infestation. Do you enjoy living with mice and being ignored? Then Kasa Del Ray is for you. They're the whole circus. Stay far away.

Management was very responsive by text when we had problems, and the bed was comfy. Heat and appliances worked, and adjusting the heat or AC was easy. The closet was spacious, the towels and paper products could be replenished from the Lobby Closet, and the coffee was good. We were there for two weeks. The place is right downtown, but there wasn't much street noise. There was an ongoing mechanical sound from somewhere nearby, though. For a couple of days, off and on, a bad smell spread through the hall and stairwell. The bathroom was a little worn, but everything worked.

We liked staying here. It was right in downtown Delray, within walking distance of my son's/dil's house. Our room had a small kitchenette and bathroom amenities. We'll definitely stay again.

The apartment-sized space cost two-thirds less than the hotel my colleagues used, and parking was plentiful and free. After a couple of long days, the precise check-in directions made it easy to get settled quickly. I was more impressed than I expected and will definitely stay again.
