The condo has great amenities and infrastructure, and the apartment was comfortable, well equipped, and well maintained. Getting around was easy too, with shops, restaurants, and the main areas close by. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. It was a great experience.

We arrived at the tower at fuse in del Rey after a long day of traveling with our child. Our furnace had gone out at our nearby permanent home in December, so we were looking forward to getting warm and comfortable. But the booking email code only opened our room. The building had no keypad at the entrance, and getting inside required a key fob that was in the room. We stood out in the cold for over half an hour with all our bags and our toddler, trying to work out what to do. A kind UPS driver who delivered there often let us in and called the manager of the building, Del Rey Tower at Fuse. Without him, we couldn't have reached our room: there were elevators and three or four more doors, all requiring a fob. Kasa was no help when we contacted them, and we never heard back. Please don't deal with this company. It doesn't seem legitimate. Friends and family who've used Kasa have had similar complaints. The property itself also wasn't maintained. The shower nozzle was broken, and the toilet chain had broken, so we had to put a hand in the toilet tank, which looked like a biohazard. Overall, Kasa is no bueno.

Several restaurants and a 7eleven nearby made it easy to grab food on my quick trip, and the building has awesome amenities. Getting there was convenient by train or bus from the airport, and it was easy to reach the Capitol One Arena in D.C. too. The check-in directions, with photos, were clear, and they included a map of the building. It can be a little confusing at first, but I didn't find it difficult.

The location is great, but that's about all I liked. The room was basic and not very clean. There were two heat/AC units, but only one worked, and some cabinet knobs were missing. The worst part was finding condoms and tissues in the bedside drawer. It gave us a bad feeling that the rental might have been used for something else, so we texted to say we wanted to check out early. The replies seemed like they came from AI. They said there'd be no refund and showed no real reaction. I would never stay here again.

This Kasa in Alexandria gave us the same excellent experience as the Arrow Apartments in the University area of Minneapolis, where we'd stayed three times before. The neighborhood felt safe even at night, though it's a bit away from the city. We had a car and could get downtown in 20 minutes, while buses take about an hour. Our two-bedroom unit had two separate bathrooms, decent-sized bedrooms with closets, and a large living room. As usual with Kasa, it came with a kitchen, cutlery, cooking utensils, a hob, dishwasher, washer and dryer, iron, and more. A few things were off: the lighting felt dim at night, there weren't quite enough laundry and dishwasher pods, and there was nowhere to put our bags except the floor. Those were minor issues. Kasa provides superb value, and we like having extra space and the option to cook. This met our expectations and would be our go-to again. We'd definitely recommend it to travelers who prefer apartment-style stays over hotels, especially for a stay of 3-4 days or longer. Target and Amazon Fresh were a short drive away for supplies. The building had paid overnight parking at reasonable rates, and free parking was possible across the main street, a few minutes away. We only discovered the free option a couple of days in, so we parked in the building for two nights and on the street for three. Kasa is an excellent value for people wanting more conveniences than a hotel, and longer stays offer even better value. I wish they had more units in more places.
