Red River Inn Alexandria

The room had a faint smell of sweat and weed when I first walked in. It sounds worse than it was, since I got used to it after a while. This review is just about the room. The office staff were friendly and helpful.

My wife and I have lived here for almost a year and feel comfortable and secure. For affordable accommodations in Alexandria, Red River Inn is the best choice. Nick, the manager, is very professional and takes a lot of pride in making guests' stays quiet and comfortable. If something isn't right, he sincerely cares and does what he can to improve the situation. His respectful staff enjoy their work and put in a lot of effort to make visits comfortable.

For a cheap hotel, I was surprised by how clean this place was. The bed was comfortable, and I slept straight through from 10 to 6am. There are plenty of food options within walking distance, and the people were nice. The walls are thin, though.

I've stayed at all the hotels in Alexandria, and for the price this one is the best. The rooms are immaculate, the Wi-Fi is fast, there are plenty of channels, and the staff are helpful and friendly. There are security cameras everywhere, and two restaurants are very close by. It's the cheapest hotel in Alexandria for the amenities. Don't be put off by the area. The parking lot is shared with Verona's Italian Restaurant, so depending on your room location, it can get a little noisy.
