I wasn't thrilled with the stay, though the staff were genuinely friendly and it wasn't unpleasant. Shopping and food are easy to reach, the Wi-Fi connected well but was very slow, and parking costs extra each night. People outside were fairly noisy around the clock. The morning offerings were coffee, yogurt, juice, bread or a muffin, and you had to be buzzed in to get to them. I can't really call it breakfast. In the first room, there were hardly any outlets and none by the desk, so I stretched a charger across the TV and used its outlet for my laptop, then used the bathroom outlet for my other devices. I had to change rooms because the toilet wouldn't flush urine, let alone anything else. The staff made the move easy, but it shouldn't have been necessary. The second room was a considerable downgrade, though at least it had a desk outlet. Those room problems and the awkward charging setup kept my rating to three stars.

You can walk to the nearby shops and places to eat, so there's no need to drive around. The hotel was clean and nice, and I'd stay again. Breakfast wasn't what I expected, but otherwise it worked for me. Thanks for the service, and God bless.

The fridge with a freezer was a real plus, and there was plenty of room to spread out. The shower pressure was great, and housekeeping came nearly every day. The hotel is older and not perfectly clean, but it felt cozy and had what we needed. We often missed breakfast because it ended at 9, and we tend to sleep late. I wish they'd serve until 9:30 or 10. We only tried it once, and it was mostly cereal, milk, and bread. I missed having good coffee in the morning and bought it elsewhere. There was a coffee maker in the room, but they left only three coffee packs on the first day and didn't replace them. It was a decent, comfortable stay overall. Parking isn't free.

I think parking ought to be included as a basic part of the stay. The extra fee is an inconvenience and doesn't offer the kind of value or hospitality travelers expect. It's also a disadvantage compared with nearby hotels that provide parking at no charge. I hope management will reconsider: ending the fee could improve guest satisfaction and the property's reputation, and might encourage guests to return. The charge seems especially unfair since this is one of very few places in the area that imposes it. Even hotels in central Washington, D.C., where space is scarce and demand is much higher, don't charge for parking in the same way.
