TRU By Hilton Allen Dallas

The room was clean and really quiet for sleeping since we were on the side away from the highway. Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were friendly. It was comfy, cozy, and clean. Breakfast was the one letdown, with too few food choices. Apart from that, we had a good stay.

The bed was the main thing I'd change. It wasn't comfortable, and its wooden frame stuck out several inches beyond the mattress on every side. I bumped into it more than once, and it hurt. The bedspread hides the frame, so guests may not realize it's there until they hit it. Everything was spotless, from the hallways to the room, and the staff were consistently polite and helpful. Breakfast was included, fresh and hot, and ready right on time each morning. The bathroom was compact, but the shower had great pressure and got hot almost instantly. The mounted shampoo and soap dispensers were handy, though the bottles were hard to squeeze. I'd stay at this Tru by Hilton again for the cleanliness, friendly staff, and reliable amenities. Making the bed more comfortable and safer would improve the experience.

I stopped for the night without a reservation while making a round trip to Dallas. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. Breakfast had a nice selection, and parking was readily available. I was concerned about the highway being so close, but the windows and construction kept the room quiet. A really good stay.

Great blackout curtains! There's wifi, but no way to connect by ethernet in the rooms. Breakfast is basic and simple. The pancake machine is nice.
