The front desk staff were polite and quick to help, both over the phone and in person, but the room was awful. The air conditioner failed in the middle of an August night and started blowing hot, dirty air. We barely got through the night, and we only stayed because we were in a last resort situation. There was toothpaste left on the sink, stained blankets and carpet, long drips down the door, and hair all over the bathroom. For what we found, this room should have been around $50 a night at most, not over $100 on a weekend. I’ve stayed in plenty of cheap hotels around the country, and this one was a new low. If I could, I’d give it zero stars apart from the staff. Just look at the pictures.

For $60 a night including tax, this place gave me a clean room, free coffee and donuts in the morning, and a really pleasant staff. They also have cameras recording the property around the clock and a manager on duty 24/7, so it felt like a safe place to stay. You get what you pay for, but I thought there was a lot included for the price. Thanks to Terry, one of their best managers.

The front desk people were kind of respectful, and there was hot water. That’s about all I can say in its favor. The room looked and smelled clean at first, but it was filthy once I looked closer: thick dust on the desks, TV, and A/C, carpet that clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in ages, and no fitted sheets. The sheets had cigarette burns even though the room was supposed to be non-smoking. Behind the bed were wrappers, cigarette butts, and dead bugs. The smoke detector had been taken off the ceiling, and I later found it in a bedside drawer. Plugging in my phone charger caused something to short out, leaving all but one light off. Then I noticed one corner of the mattress was raised. Under it, I found a box of gun ammunition hidden away. It’s cheap, but still not worth the money. The only way I’d stay again is if I were homeless. This place needs to be shut down.
