I’d give this place zero stars if I could. I booked two weeks ahead, drove two hours on the day of the reservation, and only found out when I tried to check in that the hotel had canceled it because they were overbooked. Thank God Hotels.com found me somewhere else to sleep that night. Looking at the other reviews, it seems I dodged a bullet. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

One star is too generous. I’ve worked in hospitality for over four years, and this is by far the filthiest hotel I’ve ever seen or stayed in. It’s infested with rats, and I have proof. I came with my daughter for her college tour. The first room didn’t last long because of a rat, and in the second room I recorded one on the floor beside the bed. They tried to move us to a third room, but there was no point since checkout is today. Good riddance!

From check-in onward, we got attitude, and the smell in the lobby was horrific. In our room, the blanket had stains. My son brought it to the front desk, but came back with the same one after the receptionist said there were no others. There were only two towels in the bathroom for four people, and they wouldn’t give us more. This deserves negative 10 stars.

I’d give zero stars if I could. The first room smelled musty and moldy, had cockroaches, and the shower had thick black mold and clumps of hair. The second room smelled a little less, but was still dirty and had roaches. We decided we couldn’t stay and booked another hotel. At the front desk we asked for a refund, but they refused because we had canceled the reservation. If the place had been habitable, we would have stayed. Honestly, I’d rather sleep in the car than in one of those rooms.
