Budget Inn Palmyra

The owner is updating the hotel section by section and was happy to show us around. There was ample parking and plenty of room to move around. In Room 105, the beds and pillows were clean and comfortable, the fridge was more than large enough, the water was VERY nice and hot, and the towels were SUPER soft.

We spent four nights here while waiting for my husband's truck to be repaired, and it suited us perfectly. It's an older hotel, so it isn't perfect, but the room was clean and had plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and it was easy to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. The woman at the desk was so kind and friendly. Check-in was quick, and we never needed anything. Hardees and a convenience store are within walking distance.

I stayed a couple of days while working at the BASF plant and had no problems until my last night. Then I was bitten in several places by bed bugs in room 102.

I stayed here for work for about a week around six months ago, then tried to book one more night for work. The man at the counter refused to rent me a room because I'd left two boxes in the room on my earlier visit. I hadn't realized guests were expected to clean up their own room at checkout, since they have housekeeping and I thought that was what housekeeping did after people left. This is the closest hotel to my job site, which is the only reason I tried to stay again. I believe I was discriminated against, and I've reported you to the BBB.
